Phōs Chios

Phōs takes its name from the ancient Greek word for light and is a collection of candle holders inspired by traditional embroidery patterns from the Aegean islands. Each piece translates folk motifs into a contemporary, sculptural form through 3D printing.

When lit, Phōs transforms the embroidery into shadow. The candlelight passes through the pattern and projects it onto the surrounding space, creating a quiet play of light and darkness.

The collection includes two designs, inspired by embroidery from Chios and Leros, each offering a distinct visual rhythm. Designed and produced in Greece, Phōs is made from PLA and comes ready to gift, including a white candle.

PHŌS — Chios

Phōs — Chios draws inspiration from traditional embroidery patterns of the island of Chios. The geometric motif creates dense, intricate shadows that feel rhythmic and architectural when illuminated.

As the candle burns, the pattern unfolds across the surface around it, turning light into an extension of the embroidery itself. A candle holder that brings texture, heritage and atmosphere together in a contemporary object.
