The Needlework lighting series explores embroidery not as decoration, but as light itself. Inspired by traditional needlework patterns, stitched motifs are translated into luminous surfaces that appear only when the lamp is switched on.
Needlework II is the larger and more expressive version of the series. While remaining calm and understated when unlit, it reveals richer and more pronounced embroidered patterns once illuminated, creating a stronger visual presence in the space.
As light passes through the surface, the hidden motifs gradually emerge, producing a layered interplay of glow and shadow. The result is a pendant lamp that feels both graphic and atmospheric, balancing tradition with contemporary fabrication.
Its larger scale makes Needlework II ideal as a central lighting element above dining tables, living spaces, or areas where light also plays a decorative role.
Designed and produced in Greece using 3D printing technology. Needlework II is available in five color combinations and fits directly onto an existing ceiling cable.
