YIAYIA is a transformable bag inspired by traditional Cretan embroidery, hand stitched by the designer’s grandmother. A familiar motif becomes the starting point for a contemporary design that plays with memory, color and form.
The embroidery patterns are digitally reconstructed and translated into a three-dimensional surface. Made from flexible TPU panels, the bag folds in different ways to create four distinct forms, allowing the same object to adapt to different moments and styling needs.
Hidden magnets integrated into the handle ensure a secure grip and reliable closure, while the surface feels soft like a printed textile, maintaining durability and shape memory. Available in three color variations.
